What are VOCs?
VOC stands for Volatile Organic Compounds, which are chemicals released into the air while a coating cures. At A&I Coatings, we use premium polyaspartic coating systems designed for fast curing, and many are available in low-VOC forms to help reduce odors and minimize downtime. Epoxy has a stronger, more lingering odor and its VOC potency can last beyond 24–36 hours. Polyaspartic may have a strong smell at first, but the potency fades much faster as it cures.
Faster curing less downtime
Time is money in any industrial or commercial setting. Our rapid-cure coating systems are specifically engineered to minimize operational disruptions, allowing for foot traffic and equipment use in record time. One of the biggest advantages of our systems is there fast in curing. while there may be a noticeable odor during installation, the coating chemically cures much faster than traditional epoxy systems. In most cases, the floor is ready for light foot traffic in as little as 2/4 hours, meaning the curing process and the temporary odors are greatly reduced

Proper ventilation: opening garage doors or providing air flow helps clear odors
Low-VOC products: we use polyasprtic coating systems, including low- VOC formulas when appropriate, to help minimize odor and deliver long lasting performance
Temperature & humidity: Environmental conditions play an important role. When installed within the manufactures recommended temperature range, warmer conditions typically allow the coating to cure even faster.
UV stable performance and low VOC
